The OSEC® B1 system generates a <1% sodium hypochlorite solution through the electrolysis of brine, consuming only water, salt and electricity. By producing hypochlorite on-site and on-demand, the system eliminates dependence on commercial chlorine suppliers and the problems inherent in the transport and handling of bulk hypochlorite. Additionally, OSEC B1 systems can significantly lower operating costs, as well as disinfection by-products compared to the use of bulk hypochlorite. Operation is completely automatic, making the OSEC B1 Series systems ideally suited for remote or unmanned locations.
