Validated Vent Filters
Evoqua FCVA Series vent filter cartridges are composed of hydrophobic, pleated PTFE membrane rated at 0.2 micron absolute and are designed for sterile air filtration applications.
FCVA Series Features:
- Materials of construction conform to USP Class VI Biological Tests for Plastics
- High surface area and high void volumes combine to offer exceptional flow rates and extended service life
- Fully validated by aerosol and liquid bacterial challenge
- FCVA cartridges are integrity testable by all methods including water intrusion testing
- FCVA Series filters are fully retentive to aerosolized Brevundiamonas diminuta (ATCC 19146) bacteria when challenged with a total of 2x109 cfu over a 1 hour test at the rated flow of the cartridge
- Filters conform to the requirements for the non-fiber releasing filters as laid down in the Food and Drug Administration regulation 12CFR211.72 and 210.3(b), (6)
FCVP series cartridges are composed of pleated, hydrophobic PTFE/Teflon® membrane rated at 0.2 micron absolute and are designed for sterile air filtration and storage tank venting applications.
FCVP Series Features:
- Filter components meet the criteria of the USP Class VI Biological Tests for Plastics
- Filters feature minimal pressure loss and long service life due to high void volumes and can be repeatedly seam sterilized or autoclaved Bacterial Grow through - Prevention of bacterial grown through by Brevundiamonas diminuta for at least 21 days at a challenge level greater than or equal to 1 x 107 CFU/cm2
