Perfect for lab water systems which incorporate technologies to control bacterial counts (e.g. UV, bacterial filtration), but do not feature built-in ultrafiltration. Units with an ultrafilter (e. g. PURELAB Ultra Genetic, Ultra Bioscience, PURELAB Classic UF and Classic UV/UF) will already meet extended biological specifications without the Biofilter. However, the Biofilter can be used to further prevent ingress of contaminants.
